Getting Started Right

Success in business finance requires proper preparation. Before diving into our comprehensive learning program, let's ensure you have everything needed to make the most of your educational journey starting this summer.

Technical Setup

  • Reliable Internet Connection

You'll need stable broadband internet (minimum 10 Mbps download speed) for streaming video content and participating in live discussions. Most UK household connections easily meet this requirement.

  • Modern Web Browser

Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge updated within the last year. Our learning platform works best with current browser versions that support modern web standards.

  • Audio Equipment

Either built-in speakers/microphone or a headset for clear audio during presentations. Many students prefer headphones to minimize distractions during focused learning sessions.

  • PDF Reader & Spreadsheet Software

Essential for accessing course materials and working through financial exercises. Free options like Adobe Reader and Google Sheets work perfectly well.

System Requirements

  • Operating System

Windows 10+, macOS 10.14+, or recent Linux distribution. Tablets and smartphones can access materials but aren't ideal for spreadsheet work.

  • Memory & Storage

4GB RAM minimum (8GB recommended) with 2GB free storage space for downloaded resources and practice files.

  • Screen Resolution

1366x768 minimum resolution recommended. Financial spreadsheets and charts display better on larger screens, though we've optimized content for various screen sizes.

  • Backup Solution

Cloud storage account (Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox) to save your work and access materials across devices.

Not Sure You're Ready?

Many successful students start with gaps in their knowledge – that's completely normal. Our program is designed to build these skills progressively. If you're uncertain about your readiness, our academic advisors can help you assess your starting point and suggest any preparatory materials.
